Lurie Children’s Hospital in Chicago has some pretty amazing window washers. This week they continued a tradition that started last year in an attempt to put smiles on the faces of sick kids.
The Chicago Tribune reports that three Lurie window washers wore superhero costumes when they dressed up as Captain America, Spider-Man and Batman on Tuesday, surprising the young patients at Lurie while they washed the windows next to their beds. Nurses formally named the new tradition “Superhero Day.” These kids’ reactions are absolutely priceless!
