In early 2014, Rowden and Leizel decided that they would get married in July of 2014. Shortly after making that decision, Rowden was unexpectedly diagnosed with stage IV liver cancer. Unable to leave the hospital, it became clear to the couple that the thought of Rowden surviving his battle against cancer would last until the date they had originally set.
Not wanting Rowden to leave this world without having married the love of his life, his friends and family worked together with the hospital to bring the ceremony to him. It took 12 hours of preparation, incredible love and courage to pull it off. It is the most incredible wedding I have ever seen, and it will leave you in a state of gratefulness and gratitude. Rowden died 10 hours after exchanging vows with his wife.
