The Daily Beast did an amazing and very deep look into the schools in all corners of the United States. They took “six indicators culled from school surveys to compare public high schools in the U.S., with graduation and college acceptance rates weighed most heavily. Other criteria included: college-level courses and exams, percentage of students with free or reduced lunch, as well as SAT and ACT scores – another mark of how well a school prepares students for college.”
Narrowed down to region as well as overall scores in individual segments, this list will surely shock you. There’s been a long-standing belief that certain areas of the country are more superior with education, but this list rethinks the entire scenario.
