Pro Infirmis, an organization that works and supports disabled persons and their families conducted an experiment with a disabled man named Fabian and a costume. Although most people have empathy and respect for those with disabilities, Fabian says that often times people do not sit next to him on the public bus. This experiment was recorded in order to show how an outlandish disguise helps people blend more than who they are. “Handicapped people are a regular part of society”.
