Impact Homelessness is an organization that’s dedicated to helping the homeless in Central Florida. In their “Rethink Homelessness” awareness campaign, they shed light on the idea that homelessness is caused by living a life lacking motivation, becoming an addict, or devaluing education. The fact is, few people plan to become homeless, and these “cardboard stories” are proof that it can happen to anyone; educated, currently successful or in a money-relying relationship. These people may be from Orlando, a place that doesn’t allow people to feed the homeless, but their messages are universal.
